Sad News

Peter B. Nordberg, the author and founder of Daubertontheweb.com and Blog702, passed away April 17 2010.

Please keep our family in your thoughts as we go through these hard days. I am his wife Mykaila, and I will post as soon as any decisions regarding the site and the blog are made.

Peter B. Nordberg, creator and founder of Daubertontheweb.com and Blog702, passed away April 17, 2010.

At this moment, I (his wife) have not decided what to do with the site or the blog. I would like to keep it running and get it back up to date in his memory and to honor him. I am not sure that I can do this. Peter's shoes will be next to impossible to fill. I will post a decision as soon as I have made one.

To all of you who have followed this blog over the years, or used the main site ... I thank you. The site was one of the joys of his life ... he truly loved doing it.

Evid. 702: If scientific, technical, or other specialized knowledge will assist the trier of fact to understand the evidence or to determine a fact in issue, a witness qualified as an expert by knowledge, skill, experience, training, or education, may testify thereto in the form of an opinion or otherwise, if (1) the testimony is based upon sufficient facts or data, (2) the testimony is the product of reliable principles and methods, and (3) the witness has applied the principles and methods reliably to the facts of the case.
